The qualifying judo competition for boys and girls born in 2006–2008 will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan from January 17 to 19, 2026. The tournament will be held at the sports hall of the State Sports Committee of Turkmenistan.
The competition will open the qualifying round for the national judo team and will be an important stage in identifying talented young people. The tournament aims to support and develop grassroots sports, as well as prepare promising athletes for participation in national and international competitions.
The bouts will be held in accordance with the current rules of the International Judo Federation. Only athletes who successfully pass the preliminary qualifications are allowed to participate.
