The World Association of Football Federations (FIFA), which highly appreciates the work of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan in this area, elected the head of the TFF, Guvanchmuhammet Ovekov, as a member of the FIFA Technical Development Committee. The fact that 24 representatives from 211 FIFA member federations, including the representative of Turkmenistan, were elected as members of this organization is a result of the high appreciation given to the development of football in our country and its progress on the right path.
As you know, currently the Football Federation of Turkmenistan is carrying out state work on the basis of FIFA’s programs “For Football Schools”, “Identifying and Developing Talents” and improving the knowledge of children’s football coaches. It should be noted that these events would be a good foundation for raising young people who will perform effectively in international arenas in the near future.
FIFA’s Technical Development Committee is carrying out significant work in the world to develop children’s, women’s, and grassroots football, and to increase the knowledge of young people, starting from coaches. Thanks to the efforts of this committee, Federations and Associations on the path of development have the opportunity to implement future-oriented programs. The members elected to this committee analyze the programs and plans put forward for the development of football and work on their approval. Therefore, the election of our country’s representative to this committee is a clear evidence that our country’s football will also progress.
