Currently, the tasks arising from the Memorandum on cooperation in the field of science and education signed in 2017 between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas and the Efrosiniya Polotskaya Polotsk State University of the Republic of Belarus continue to be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the times, and on March 31, which was declared the year of “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful winged horses”. The first and third parts of the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information and Communication Technologies: Achievements, Problems, Innovations (ICT-2026)” held by the Belarusian side through the digital system were jointly held at the university. Professors, researchers, students, and specialists from foreign companies of our university and foreign universities actively participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference. At the opening ceremony of the International Scientific and Practical Conference, the heads of the two universities made welcoming speeches.
The conference highlighted the systematic work being carried out by educational institutions of the two countries to transition to digital technologies, the increasing digital development of the education system, and the importance of international cooperation in this area. The speeches of foreign representatives participating in the conference described the preparatory work on developing cooperation with educational institutions in the field of education, in the development of new technologies. As noted, it was noted that there are enormous opportunities for specialists to develop the education system through innovation.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation, the first and third sections of the international scientific and practical conference, entitled “Information Systems and Software Development Technologies,” were held at the Information Technology Center of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas. As is known, Turkmenistan is an active supporter of digital transformation and the application of innovations to all systems, demonstrating its openness to studying and adopting the best world practices.
