On November 10, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Mr. Sasaki Hiroshi visited Secondary School No. 140 in Ashgabat.
During the visit, books about Japan were donated by the Kasumi Kaikan Association as part of the Kasumi Kaikan Book Donation Program, as reported by the website tm.emb-japan.go.jp.
Students and teachers studying Japanese attended the ceremony.
Performances by students from grades 1 to 12 added a festive atmosphere to the event, including a chorus of Japanese songs, dances, and poetry readings.
The embassy sincerely hopes that the donated books will help the students gain a deeper understanding of Japan.
