On October 28, the children’s football festival “Leather Ball” was held on the training field of the Arkadag stadium in the city of Arkadag.
The festival was organized by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan to further develop grassroots football in the country.
More than 200 children participated in the festival. The football festival featured game-based activities centered on the basic technical elements of football. Several stations were located on the field, and at each station, children performed various exercises, participated in relay races, shots on goal, juggled, and played football. After the festival, the children received memorable presents.
