Two lecturers from the Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan are currently on a working trip to Japan to deepen their advanced knowledge and scientific experience. From October 1 to 17, 2025, they will participate in a specialized training program at ICONM – the Innovation Center of Nanomedicine, located in Kawasaki, Japan, which is recognized as one of the world’s leading scientific research centers. The visit is organized in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Oguz han Engineering and technology university of Turkmenistan and ICONM—the Innovation Center of Nanomedicine of Kawasaki Institute of Industrial Promotion, Japan. Under the terms of this Memorandum of Understanding, representatives of Turkmenistan’s higher education institutions are invited to Japan to familiarize themselves with cutting-edge scientific research.
ICONM is a global center for leading work in nanotechnology, nanomedicine, and nanomaterials. Participation in the training program will allow Turkmen lecturers to master modern methods, explore new scientific approaches, and exchange expertise with Japanese specialists. The main purpose of the visit is to improve the professional qualifications of the lecturers, to exchange ideas for the implementation of joint scientific projects, and to expand international cooperation in Turkmenistan’s higher education system. The participation of Turkmen lecturers in this program in Japan will significantly enrich the country’s higher education sector with the world’s best practices, thereby making an important contribution to introducing innovative methods in the training of young engineers.
