The very strong magnetic storm that began on Earth on November 12 has not yet reached its highest level, G5, but this could happen at any time.
According to TASS, space-based measuring instruments have not yet received reliable data that could be interpreted as signs of a second plasma cloud approaching Earth. Level G5 has not yet been reached, but with the observed interplanetary magnetic field strength of approximately 50 nT, Earth’s magnetosphere could reach it at any moment.
The current magnetic storm is developing unevenly, with moderately disturbed periods alternating with impulsive bursts.
