From January 31 to February 2, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the 52nd session of the Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which served as the third and most important preparatory stage for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), which will be held in Baghdad on April 11–12, 2026.
During the session, the Turkmen side presented a draft resolution entitled “The Role of the Policy of Neutrality in Maintaining and Strengthening International Peace, Security, and Sustainable Development in the OIC and globally” for subsequent adoption at the 52nd session of the OIC CFM.
Participants also developed strategic solutions in the political, legal, informational, and humanitarian spheres, and finalized the work program for the foreign ministers in preparation for its adoption.
