On May 10, the 16th Oratory Competition in Korean language was held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. The guests of honor of the competition were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea Ji Kyu-Taek to Turkmenistan, his family, and Embassy staff. The ceremony began with welcoming speech by the Rector of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Mr. Ambassador. In his speech, Mr. Ambassador expressed gratitude to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and our Honorable President for their tireless efforts to enhance Turkmen-Korean cooperation.
The competition was attended by 12 students of the elementary and intermediate levels of Korean language proficiency. They gave an speech to compete with each other in korean language. The winners of the oratory competition, who took the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places were awarded with I, II and III degree diplomas. In addition, a valuable gifts given by higher education institutions and Korean Embassy in Turkmenistan.
