Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov concluded his state visit to Kazakhstan with a visit to the “Älem.AI” International Artificial Intelligence Center in Astana.
The head of state, along with Kazakh officials, toured the center and learned about its facilities.
“Älem.AI” opened in October of this year within the EXPO 2017 infrastructure. The center was created for scientific research, startups, and international cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. Its objectives include expanding the export of Kazakhstani AI solutions and raising the country’s technological and economic level.
The Nur-Alem building, an eight-story circular structure, houses classrooms, programming, 3D design, and AI courses for schoolchildren and students, exhibition areas, a cinema, and an artificial intelligence museum.
The visit underscored Turkmenistan’s interest in international experience and the development of innovative technologies as part of the country’s strategic course.
