Recently, the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy in the city of Arkadag hosted an international online Olympiad entitled “International Peace and Trust – the Basis of Economic Development” among students of higher education institutions of our country and abroad.
A total of 535 students from 72 prestigious higher education institutions from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Turkiye and the People’s Republic of China participated in the International Olympiad.
The international competition, held on the occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the UN and the Year of International Peace and Trust. The olympiad played a special role in further developing the economic concepts and thinking skills of the younger generation, promoting the need to strengthen peace and mutual trust in the world, as well as showing its importance in economic development.
The International Olympiad was held online, and participants studying in various fields were offered test questions on macroeconomics, world economy and international economic relations. According to the results, a total of 106 participants showed good results, 66 students from our country and 40 students from foreign universities became winners of the international Olympiad.
Yesterday, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the international Internet Olympiad in the conference hall of the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy. At the event, which was accompanied by music, the winners were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees by the rector of the higher education institution and memorable gifts on behalf of public organizations of Arkadag city.
