China will hold a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced this at a joint press conference with SCO Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev, TASS reports.
According to the Chinese Foreign Minister, leaders of more than 20 countries and heads of 10 international organizations will attend the summit. They will take part in “related activities,” the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry added.
