Today, 4 December, the 3rd Media Forum “Digital Environment: Online Presence in the Age of AI and Information Manipulation” opened at Maksut Narikbayev University in Astana.
The forum brought together leading international media experts from France, Germany, Poland, and Central Asian countries to discuss the key challenges of the digital age.
The forum will explore cutting-edge practices in media security, digital ethics, and information management in the AI era. The comprehensive program includes four practical workshops covering the most pressing topics.

These include combating deep fakes: influencing policy and journalism; responding to AI-driven disinformation: identifying threats in the digital age.
Workshops will also be held on journalistic resilience: from bias to objective results; and information security: practical aspects of data protection.

Participants will also enjoy professional networking, providing an opportunity for colleagues from the media community, NGOs, and the diplomatic corps to establish contacts and share experiences.
