The annual inclusive festival “We Are Different, We Are Equal!” will take place in Ashgabat Park.
Organized by the UN Country Team in Turkmenistan and local public organizations, with the support of the Government of Turkmenistan, the event coincides with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated on December 3. The festival program includes sports competitions—volleyball, table tennis, and tennis, chess, and checkers—as well as active games, rock climbing, a drawing contest, quizzes, an exhibition of works by artists, and creative performances.
Participants can expect musical and dance performances, a flash mob, and a festive atmosphere of mutual respect, creativity, and joy.
The festival begins on November 15 at 2:00 PM.
