In early December, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad held several visits and meetings with leading cultural, educational and scientific institutions of Pakistan.
During the meetings, the Turkmen side presented books written by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Honorable President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow to the National Library of Pakistan, the National Book Fund, the Institute of National Folk and Cultural Heritage (“Lok Virsa”), the “COMSATS” University and other institutions.
In addition, special issues of the magazines “Diplomatic Insight” and “Diplomatic Focus” published by the embassy were also presented.
They focused on Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, socio-economic achievements and cultural activities, major energy and infrastructure projects, as well as international initiatives aimed at ensuring peace, security and sustainable development of the country.
The heads and representatives of Pakistani institutions expressed their sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Turkmenistan, noting that this cultural and humanitarian event reflects the high-level fraternal relations between the two countries, based on common historical and cultural ties, a common commitment to peace, development, and mutual understanding.
