Today, closing ceremony of the 5th Open Mathematical Olympiad (OMOUS 2025) take place at the International University for the Humanities and Development. More than 130 students from 31 foreign universities, including Russia, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, India, and Poland, and about 400 students from our country, successfully performed at the Olympiad and achieved high results.
The Olympiad, which was held in individual and team formats, was supervised by a jury consisting of professors and teachers from domestic and foreign universities. Turkmen students were winner of a total of 201 medals, including 182 medals in individual and 19 medal in team competitions. They won 35 gold medals, 59 silver medals, and 88 bronze medals in the individual competition. In the team competition, they won 2 gold, 3 silver, and 14 bronze medals. At the International Olympiad, Uzbek students won 66 individual medals and 11 team medals, while Russian students won 39 individual medals and 5 team medals. Students from the United Arab Emirates, who are participating in this Olympiad for the first time, won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Students from Indonesia, India, Poland and Romania also won 1 bronze medal each.
During the ceremony, the students — winner of the international olympiad were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals by the university administration.
