The official website of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Charitable Foundation for Children in Need of Guardianship (https://hemayat.gov.tm) has been launched.
The platform was created to make the work of the Foundation as open and accessible as possible for citizens of Turkmenistan and international partners. The site contains information about the Foundation’s goals and areas of work, news, photo and video materials, useful tips, and contact information.
The Foundation was established in March 2021 at the initiative of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. The main tasks of the organization are: to provide comprehensive support to children in need of guardianship, finance complex medical operations and treatment, conduct rehabilitation and health-improving activities, assist in adaptation to life, as well as develop international cooperation in the protection of children’s rights.
Over the past four years, the Foundation has provided assistance to hundreds of children, financed more than 700 surgical operations and rehabilitation programs. Dozens of charitable projects have been implemented in Turkmenistan and abroad. At the end of the 2025, the Fund opened a branch in the Awaza National Tourist Zone, actively cooperates with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Moreover, continues to expand its partnership. The organization consistently supports departments of children’s hospitals throughout the country, donating modern ambulances, hemodialysis equipment and specialized medical equipment. The Fund is under the auspices of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Arkadag, as well as similar medical and educational institutions located in the capital and regions.
