The World Government Summit will be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5. 35 heads of state and government, more than 150 government delegations, and over 6000 participants are expected to attend it.
Organizers of the World Government Summit (WGS) have announced that 2026 will be the most ambitious year in the event’s history.
The meeting, which will take place in Dubai from February 3 to 5, will focus on the development of artificial intelligence technologies, climate change, and economic uncertainty.
The theme of the meeting is “Shaping the Governments of Tomorrow.”
The summit will feature a series of high-level forums on artificial intelligence, education, mobility, sustainability, and economic stability.
In addition, the event will host the first-ever Global Laureates Summit, where Nobel laureates and leading scientists will participate in key policy debates.
According to the organizers, the summit’s goal is to go beyond mere talk and create a platform for political and business leaders to come together at a time when global systems are under strain.
“Launched in the UAE with a global reach, the World Government Summit was guided by the leadership’s vision to become a global platform for practical solutions, new ideas, and effective partnerships,” said Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the WGS.
The World Government Summit has been held annually since 2013.
