At a government meeting on October 17, Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on preparations for the Week “Permanent Neutrality: The Foundation of Friendship and Brotherhood,” which will be held in theaters across the country to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
During the Week, scheduled for December of this year, theaters across the country plan to present several new productions, along with previously staged plays based on classic works by foreign authors.
A corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for his consideration.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting that events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality are regularly held during the International Year of Peace and Trust, instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to organize the Week “Permanent Neutrality: The Foundation of Friendship and Brotherhood” at the highest level in the country’s theaters.
