The trade complex and private sector of Turkmenistan demonstrate high dynamics. According to the data of Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyev, included in his report at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on August 29, for the first eight months of 2025, the trade turnover of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations increased by 17.7% compared to last year.
The textile industry, one of the key export industries, increased its production volume by 4.2%. The growth in the production of cotton yarn and fabrics is especially noticeable. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange held 194 trades, registering almost 19 thousand contracts, which indicates high business activity.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to improve the provision of the domestic market with in-demand products and continue work to increase the volume of exports of goods, including through the private sector.
