A training session for media representatives on ethical coverage of issues related to children has started at the United Nations building in Ashgabat.
The training was organized by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Office in Turkmenistan with the support of the country’s foreign ministry. It will last until May 17th. The training was led by experts from the Center for Legal Information in Kazakhstan, Diana Okremova, Gulmira Birzhanova and Dainius Radzyavicius.
The course program includes such areas as the specifics of creating high-quality content for and about children, an overview of communication skills with children during interviews, as well as children’s communication skills in social advertising and socially significant materials.
A separate session will be devoted to the use of artificial intelligence to visualize content about children, ethical visualization and storytelling with children.
In addition to the theoretical part, the training includes practical tasks in groups to create materials and publications.
