Great Britain announces the TSL International Essay Competition for Students and Pupils for 2026. The competition is free to enter for all students worldwide between 7-, and 18 years of age. Students are warmly invited to participate by submitting ONE (1) single entry each.
In the TSL 2026 International Student Competition, focus on what young people think about SUSTAINABILITY CULTURE! And essay topic 2026 – “Sustainability culture.”
Participants can submit works with the themes: What does “sustainability culture” (or its opposite) look like?
Can you imagine a world in which sustainable cultural practices are the norm?
How do our existing cultural practices need to change?
Are there any examples of cultures, past or present, which we can learn from?
These are just a few examples of ways students may wish to approach the topic, but all perspectives are welcome, as long as their entries are focused on SUSTAINABILITY CULTURE in some way. Please remember: creative and original submissions are strongly encouraged, and entries are welcome in a broad variety of media.
All entries must be submitted on TSL Competition Platform: https://trustforsustainableliving.submittable.com/submit by a registered Teacher Champion, so please create a teacher/parent account if you don’t already have one.
Prizes:
Two finalists from each category will be invited on a free international trip to Student Debate in England.
The best essay winners will receive gifts.
All participants in the program will receive personal electronic certificates.
Deadline: 1 March 2026 (04:59 with Turkmenistan time)
