The Turkmen Agricultural Institute announces the continuation of registration for the International Competition of Scientific and Project Works “Agro-Innovations: The Path to Sustainable Development” among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad.
Purpose of the Competition:
To foster scientific thinking, research skills, and creativity among students by encouraging them to independently solve important agricultural challenges related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Main Objectives:
Expand students’ knowledge in the field of sustainable agricultural development;
Promote the use of scientific approaches to solving agricultural problems;
Develop the ability to identify, analyze, and effectively address emerging issues;
Encourage the creation of innovative and practical solutions for the agricultural sector;
Increase students’ interest in natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics based on the STEM approach.
The competition will be held from November 12 to 13 and will take place in one stage.
Official languages: Turkmen, English, and Russian.
This event aims to contribute to achieving the goals of sustainable agricultural development and the rational use of water resources within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The competition will be held in three categories:
Agricultural Projects
IT Projects
Business Projects
An individual student or a team of up to two students may submit each project. Participants are required to prepare a scientific project in their chosen field and present it to the competition jury online.
Entries will be evaluated according to six main criteria:
Relevance, Novelty, Content Value, Outreach, Replicability, and Environmental Impact.
The winners will be determined based on the total score across all evaluation criteria and will receive First, Second, and Third Degree Diplomas awarded on behalf of the Rector of the Institute.
