Turkmen filmmakers will participate in the Gorkut Ata International Film Festival, which will be held from October 1 to 5 in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
This annual festival, which brings together creative representatives from Turkic countries, will be an important milestone in strengthening cultural ties and highlighting cinematic art on an international platform.
Participants include young talents from Turkmenistan, including directors, screenwriters, and cinematographers. One of the participants will be Sahysalykh Bayramov, Deputy Chairman for Creative Affairs at the Turkmenfilm Association, who will present feature films in the competition program.
Documentaries will also be screened at the festival, such as “…Art is Eternal” by director Sahragul Yannamamedova, dedicated to national independence.
The festival promises to be a significant event for world cinema and expand the horizons of Turkmen creativity.
