Students of the Maya Kulieva Turkmen National Conservatory will perform as part of a united choir of 250 musicians from the CIS countries at the festive events in Moscow dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. As reported “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Representatives of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan have been invited to participate in the festive concert program scheduled for May 9.
Currently, Turkmen students are rehearsing together with their Azerbaijani colleagues at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music under the direction of the rector of the academy Alexander Ryzhinsky. The repertoire of the united choir includes patriotic works, including the songs “Sacred War”, the anthem “Bells” and “Victory Day”.
