University faculty and students participated in a training session at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering on the topic “The Role of AI Technologies in Architecture and Design and Their Application in Project Work,” according to the online newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”
Ashe Gubaeva and Shirmukhammet Dzhepbarov, faculty members of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, led the session. The main goal was to discuss the potential applications of artificial intelligence in architecture and design and demonstrate its role in modern project work.
Using practical examples, participants explored the use of AI in the creation of architectural projects, interiors, and exteriors, digital modeling of urban environments, and optimization of construction solutions. Information was also presented on digital platform solutions, generative design, and 3D modeling used in global architecture.
Discussions included the impact of AI on the development of the architectural and construction industries, the integration of national traditions with modern technologies, and the training of new-level specialists.
At the end of the session, the participants shared their opinions and suggestions. The organizers noted the event’s effectiveness and the need for regular meetings like this, emphasizing the growing role of artificial intelligence in science and education.
