At a government meeting on November 21, Deputy Prime Minister M.Chakyev reported on ongoing work to develop and improve the logistics capabilities of civil aviation.
As reported, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen our country’s position in the international air cargo transportation system and enhance transit and logistics potential, Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company received active member status and the corresponding certificate from the International Cargo Association (TIACA).
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal to the head of state for his consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that our country attaches great importance to the development and further improvement of the logistics potential of civil aviation. Productive work is being carried out in this area, aimed at increasing international cooperation. Having approved the proposal to establish cooperation with foreign airlines, the head of state addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with the relevant instructions.
