Turkmenistan and China have signed a number of documents on cooperation in the fields of education, intellectual property, museum affairs and the media. As reported by the tdh.gov.tm.
As part of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s visit to China, bilateral meetings of members of the Turkmen delegation with Chinese partners were held. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the media, in the field of education, and touched upon issues of logistics and modernization of specialized infrastructure in the energy sector.
Following the meetings, the parties signed bilateral documents, including:
Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Lanzhou University;
Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Intellectual Property between the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the National Intellectual Property Administration of the People’s Republic of China;
Memorandum of Understanding between the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan and the National Museum of China;
Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Cooperation between the Editorial Board of the Electronic Newspaper “Altyn Asyr” (Turkmenistan) and the Publication “Renmin Ribao” (People’s Republic of China).
