During the working visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Kazakhstan, an exchange of important documents aimed at expanding archaeological cooperation with Italy took place. As reported news agency “Turkmenistan: today”.
Two key documents were signed: an agreement between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the International Association for Mediterranean and Oriental Studies (ISMEO) (Italy) on cooperation in the field of archaeological research, as well as an agreement between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Turin Center for Archaeological Research and Excavations in Asia and the Middle East (Italy) on further cooperation in the field of archaeological research.
These documents open up new opportunities for deepening joint projects in the field of archaeology, contributing to the study and preservation of the rich historical heritage of Turkmenistan.
