On October 29, a roundtable discussion was held via videoconference with representatives of the Ministry of Automobile Transport of Turkmenistan, Sumitomo Corporation, and Toyota Central Asia on the topic of “Opportunities for Cooperation with Japanese Companies in the Supply of Automotive Equipment,” according to japan.tmembassy.gov.tm.
Participants discussed the existing partnership with Sumitomo Corporation in the provision of taxis and public transportation, emphasizing the importance of further developing this mutually beneficial relationship.
The parties also exchanged views on current projects and prospects for future cooperation.
Finally, Japanese companies were invited to participate in the International Conference and Exhibition “International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development 2025,” which will be held in Ashgabat on November 26–27.
