The Football Associations of Qatar and Turkmenistan have signed an agreement aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in football, as reported https://tff.com.tm/news/1866.
The signing ceremony took place on May 26 at the headquarters of the Qatar Football Association in Doha.
President of the Qatar Football Association Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainen and President of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan Guvanch Ovekov signed the document. The ceremony was also attended by the Secretaries General of both organizations — Mansour Al Ansari from the Qatari side and Serdar Geldiev from the Turkmen side.
The agreement was an important step in the Qatar Football Association’s strategy to expand cooperation with Asian football federations and strengthen ties with friendly countries in the region.
