On October 13, the 13th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen–Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Ashgabat at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The meeting was co-chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin. The meeting brought together heads of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries, as well as representatives of business and academic circles. The parties discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation in economy, transport, agriculture, healthcare, science, and education.
As part of the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign the Roadmap for Cooperation between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
The document aims to further strengthen the partnership in general and secondary vocational education, promote the exchange of pedagogical experience, develop digital learning environments, and enhance teacher training.

The signing of the Roadmap represents an important step in implementing the strategic course pursued by the Honorable President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the modernization and internationalization of the national education system.
It also reaffirms the mutual commitment of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation to deepen humanitarian cooperation and strengthen the traditional ties of friendship between the two nations.
