Teachers of the Aba Annayev International Equestrian Academy arrived in the Slovak Republic on a working visit. Nowruz Myratdurdyev, a lecturer at the Department of Equestrian Sports, Tourism and National Equestrian Games, and Dovranmyrat Begmyradov, a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Natural Sciences and Computer Technologies, participated in an international training seminar held at the University of Agriculture in Nitra.
The event was held from November 3 to 6, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program “Green Deal for Central Asian Universities” (GDCAU).
During the seminar, methodological sessions and experience exchanges were held on the inclusion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in curricula, improvement of existing courses, introduction of two new subjects into the curriculum, as well as the creation of a joint master’s program. Representatives of the Academy made presentations on the structure, content, expected results and modern teaching methods of the curricula.
On November 6, the academy delegation visited the Equestrian Center of the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra and were acquainted with the training of horses, overcoming obstacles, and examining and diagnosing diseases.
Because of the seminar, the curricula in several subjects were improved and the professional level of the university’s teachers was raised.
