On February 4, a meeting was held in Abu Dhabi between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic and trade-economic spheres were discussed.
The sides paid particular attention to issues related to intensifying efforts aimed at the implementation of large-scale joint projects, particularly in the energy and transport-logistics sectors.
In this context, the expediency of preparing a Programme of Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE was emphasized.
In addition, the sides exchanged views on a number of issues on the regional and international agenda.
