Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Romania plan to sign an agreement to establish the Caspian Sea–Black Sea international transport route in December 2025.
This was announced by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili at the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Investor Forum in Tashkent.
The new route will create a multimodal bridge between the Caspian region and the European Union, expand transportation options, and enhance the resilience of logistics chains.
The forum brought together representatives from the EU, the Black Sea region, and Central Asia, providing a platform for discussing key areas of transport cooperation.
