From October 23 to 24, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Kakajan Yagmyrov, Head of the Department of International Relations and Logistics at the Ministry of Road Transport of Turkmenistan, participated in the Regional Conference of Ministers of Transport (RTMC 2025) in Islamabad, organized by the Ministry of Communications of Pakistan, as reported by pakistan.tmembassy.gov.tm.
During their presentation, the Turkmen delegation presented the country’s transport and logistics potential, noting Turkmenistan’s key role as a regional transit hub and the development of modern infrastructure facilities—railways, highways, seaports, and logistics centers.
They also emphasized the country’s active modernization of its transport system, the introduction of digital solutions, and the implementation of international initiatives on sustainable transport and the integration of regional corridors.
The delegation expressed its readiness to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan and expand bilateral and multilateral ties to promote trade and regional connectivity.
The conference confirmed the commitment of countries in the region, including Turkmenistan, to developing a transport and logistics network as an important factor in economic integration.
