At a government meeting on January 23, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev reported on ongoing efforts to develop the country’s digital economy.
As reported, amid the rapid advancement of digital technologies worldwide, national approaches to the development of artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming increasingly important.
This requires developing rules for the use of AI technologies, regulating the interaction of AI entities, including defining the powers, rights, duties, and responsibilities of government agencies, and developing national standards and technical regulations for AI technologies and products.
The Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state’s consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that effective work is underway in our country to develop the digital economy and introduce innovative technologies into the industry. In this regard, it was emphasized that the development of artificial intelligence and the establishment of international cooperation in this area are of utmost importance. Approving the proposal, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work.
