From November 12 to 14, Turkmenistan will host two large-scale international events for the first time at a single venue: the exhibition and scientific conference “Turkmentel-2025” and the conference and exhibition “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development – 2025.”
This unification creates a unique platform for discussing the prospects for digitalization, innovation, and transport integration in the context of sustainable development.
The forum will bring together representatives of government agencies, international organizations, scientists, experts, and businesspeople from Turkmenistan and abroad. The focus will be on showcasing achievements in digital development, telecommunications, satellite technologies, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. An awards ceremony for the winners of the “Digital Solution-2025” innovation project competition will also be held as part of “Turkmentel-2025.”
Participants will also discuss the development of international transport and transit corridors. Turkmenistan, implementing its transport and communications development strategy, is strengthening its position as a key logistics hub at the regional and global levels. The exhibition will highlight promising projects and solutions aimed at expanding international partnerships and attracting investment in the sector.
As a reminder, Turkmenistan’s sustainable transport initiatives have received support from the international community: at the 70th plenary session of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, a resolution was adopted declaring November 26 as World Sustainable Transport Day.
