The editorial board of the Turkmenistan newspaper, together with the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, announces a creative competition for young journalists entitled “Youth – Builders of a Great Future.”
The competition aims to highlight and popularize the significance of large-scale transformations in Turkmenistan in 2026, as well as in honor of the country’s 35th anniversary of independence.
Creative works (articles, essays, interviews) are accepted. Authors can discuss new facilities commissioned to mark significant dates; the role of Turkmenistan’s initiatives in strengthening peace and trust in the international arena; and the glory of Turkmen horses, using examples supported by reliable information. Essays may highlight the work achievements of employees, public figures, and renowned horse breeders. Interviews and articles must be informative, artistically expressive, and compelling.
The competition is open to journalists under 35 years of age. The results will be announced in May, and the winners will receive certificates of commendation from the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and commemorative gifts.
