Young athletes from Turkmenistan are participating in the annual Commonwealth Youth Cybersport Games, the in-person stage of which opened on July 30, as reported by the website eccis.org.
The organizer of the tournament was the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “MIREA – Russian Technological University” – the basic organization of the CIS member states for working with youth.
The participants of the in-person stage of the Games were young athletes from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, who passed the selection stage in the online format.
CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev sent a greeting to the organizers, participants and guests of the competition. In it, he expressed gratitude to the organizers of the tournament for the thoughtful multi-level format of the Games using modern information technologies, which made it possible to bring to life one of the most accessible and popular events for the youth of the Commonwealth countries.
