A delegation from Turkmenistan, represented by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, participated in the fifth Forum of the Regional Alliance for Cervical Cancer Prevention in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The event took place from September 30 to October 2 in Skopje, North Macedonia, according to the Turkmenistan International Center for Health and Medical Industry.
The forum, supported by UNFPA, provided a platform for exchanging experiences and strengthening national strategies in the field of cervical cancer prevention.
The visit of the Turkmen delegation, organized with the assistance of the UNFPA Office in Turkmenistan, was aimed at learning about best practices and modern approaches in the fight against cervical cancer.
The participation of specialists allowed for the establishment of professional contacts, enhanced skills, and expanded opportunities for improving national programs.
