A delegation from Magtymguly Turkmen State University conducted a working visit to Saint-Paul-lès-Durance, France, from December 17 to 21.
The delegation included A. Amanmadov, a lecturer in the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, and M. Kakamuradova, a first-year student majoring in Radio Physics and Electronics.
During the visit, the Turkmen specialists learned about the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), one of the largest scientific projects in the field of energy. Participants were briefed on the principles of controlled thermonuclear fusion and the potential for its use in generating safe and environmentally friendly electricity.
