At the extended meeting of the Government on July 11, the head of the national parliament D. Gulmanova informed about the work carried out in accordance with the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag on the development of a jubilee medal. In addition commemorative sign on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality.
As noted, in order to reward individuals who have made a worthy contribution to strengthening the independence and permanent neutrality of the Fatherland, international peace and trust, as well as to the successes achieved in the political, economic and cultural spheres. The Mejlis has developed a draft Law of Turkmenistan “On the establishment of the jubilee medal “Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna”.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that independent Turkmenistan, having achieved high indicators in all areas, widely celebrates the glorious holiday – the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality – at the international level.
In this regard, the head of state, in order to celebrate the International Day of Neutrality in the International Year of Peace and Trust, signed the Law of Turkmenistan “On the establishment of the jubilee medal “Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna”.
