At a government meeting on October 17, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H.Geldimuradov reported on preparations for a scientific and practical conference marking the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national manat.
It was noted that 250 representatives from ministries, agencies, and credit institutions, as well as higher and specialized secondary educational institutions within the financial, economic, and banking sectors, are expected to participate
in this forum. The conference will feature presentations and discussions on issues related to monetary policy, modern banking services provided through the introduction of digital technologies, as well as the improvement of the electronic payment system and cooperation with international financial institutions.
In this context, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of proper preparation and ensuring the proper organization of the scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the manat, and addressed a number of instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister in this regard.
