The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care will finance the design and construction of a mosque in the city of Fizuli, Azerbaijan. The contract was signed with the Turkmen company “Aga-gurluşyk,” according to the Turkmenistan International Information Center.
The decision was made on the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and reflects the expansion of the Foundation’s humanitarian activities and the strengthening of ties between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
Additionally, the Foundation signed a contract with the Sport ýyldyzy company to modernize the buildings of the Jahan Creative Center and the Şehitler Mosque in Turkmenistan, as well as to construct a new multi-purpose sports complex.
