Deputy Prime Minister B. Seyidova reported on this at a government meeting on January 23 and submitted a corresponding proposal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for consideration.
It was reported that conferences, creative meetings, briefings, exhibitions, educational and promotional events, and musical performances are planned for the coming month to celebrate the 2026 motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds” and Turkmenistan Diplomats’ Day.
In honor of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the Oguzkhan Türkmenfilm Association plans to hold a series of events and celebrations in cultural centers in the capital and the provinces, including conferences and a week of films produced during the years of independence.
Additionally, a concert of Turkmen film melodies performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan, as well as a number of other events, is scheduled for February at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, noting that numerous celebrations are planned in our country in the year of “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Determined Winged Steeds,” instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to properly prepare for the events scheduled for February and ensure their high-level execution.
