At a government meeting on March 13, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Atagulyev reported on the work being done to ensure Turkmenistan’s high-level participation in the World Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia.
In preparation for the upcoming exhibition, which will be held under the motto “A Game for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” construction, installation, equipment, and design work for our country’s national pavilion are underway. Turkmenistan will participate in this exhibition under the motto “Türkmenistan – parahatçylygyň owazy, saglygyň mekany” (“Turkmenistan – melody of peace, land of health”).
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the head of state’s consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan regularly participates in major international events, which contributes to the development of trade and economic relations with foreign countries. Approving the proposal for Turkmenistan’s participation in the World Expo 2027, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the necessary work in this regard.
