On November 12, a three-day international event combining two important areas of the country began at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The XVIII International Exhibition and Scientific Conference “Turkmentel – 2025” and the opening ceremony of the International Conference and Exhibition “International Transport and Logistics Corridors: Interconnection and Development – ​​2025” were attended by the Speaker of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as heads of international organizations and diplomatic missions. A welcome letter from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow was read to the participants.
The event covers issues such as the development of international cooperation, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and the future of communications, satellite technologies, and the state strategy for digital development.
Event entitled “International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development – 2025” aims to discuss important issues related to the development of effective international transport corridors in the international transport sector, infrastructure opportunities in the transport complex: highways, railways, international seaports and airports. The main topics to be discussed are the post-pandemic recovery of the transport and logistics sector, the digitalization of the transport and communication complex, the environmental aspects of sustainable transport, the role of public-private partnership in developing green infrastructure, and the importance of science and education in the development of the transport and communication complex. The international event is attended by delegations of foreign companies along with local companies.


The forum’s schedule, which will last until November 14, clearly demonstrates Turkmenistan’s policy of accelerating digital transformation and developing transit opportunities.
These important forums will create a platform for meetings of heads of Turkmen state institutions and foreign companies to discuss investment and partnership projects.
The main event of the second day will be the Fintech Forum, organized jointly with the British company “Dialogue Events Ltd”. Its purpose is to discuss the role of financial technologies in the digital development of Turkmenistan.
In addition, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will hold the “Turkmenistan International Startup Forum – 2025”. This session is important for attracting young entrepreneurship and innovations to the national economy.
The events on November 14 will be devoted to strategic development. On the same day, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) will hold a seminar entitled “Digital transformation of public administration: from digital registers to the implementation of artificial intelligence”. This topic focuses on the long-term goal of Turkmenistan to modernize the public administration system through artificial intelligence and digital solutions.


The forum will end with an award ceremony for the winners of the “Digital Solutions – 2025” innovative projects competition. This event will stimulate the country’s development in the IT market.
The forum is an important indicator of Turkmenistan’s readiness for accelerated integration into the global digital economy and strengthening its position as a major transport and logistics center in Central Asia.
