A lecturer from the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Döwletmyrat Berdiýew, took part in an academic training program titled “The Rule of Law”, organized by the Government of Japan within the framework of the “MIRAI” Program for Central Asia and the Caucasus. The program was held in Tokyo, Japan, from 14 to 19 January.
The international training seminar conducted in Tokyo under the “MIRAI” Program was aimed at in-depth study of the rule of law in modern society, as well as at promoting the exchange of experience among different countries.
The program covered key topics such as the rule of law, modernization of legal systems, and the study of advanced international best practices in this field. Throughout the program, lectures, thematic training sessions, and discussion forums were organized.
As part of the program, a special training session was held at Keio University, one of Japan’s leading higher education institutions located in Tokyo. Professors of Keio University conducted the session, and this focused on modern methods of developing legal culture. Through presentations based on the professors’ extensive academic experience, participants gained valuable knowledge and insights.
In addition, participants visited the Keio University Museum during the program. The museum tour introduced them to the history of the development of Japan’s education system, the establishment of Keio University, and its scientific and cultural heritage. This visit not only broadened the participants’ cultural perspectives but also clearly demonstrated the close interconnection between education and culture.
The international training program held within the framework of the “MIRAI” initiative provides broad opportunities for participants to enhance their professional knowledge, study international experience, and strengthen cooperation in the fields of law and education. The outcomes of the program are expected to make an important contribution to strengthening the rule of law and promoting legal culture.
