International University for the Humanities and Development announce the VI Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMOUS-2026), which will be held in Ashgabat city on March 23-28.
VI Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students is held in order to develop the natural talents and abilities of students, to raise leading young people with a broad outlook by strengthening friendship, to encourage them to be actively engaged in science and creativity, and to provide positive conditions for choosing profession related to their intellectual development.
The official working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen and English.
The Olympiad is to be held as an individual competition in two categories:
Category A – students Mathematics and Computer Science specialties;
Category B – students Engineering, Technology, Economics and Management specialties.
Team competitions are held between groups of four students, regardless of their major. Teams may also include students (Bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s degree programs) from different universities. There is no limit on the number of participants at both levels for participating countries. Participants in the Olympiad and their team leaders will be registered from January 15 to March 10.
